This month (May) we have some exciting events:
On May 18th we'll be at the UW campus HUB playing a swing dance for the Swing Kids from 8 to 11.
Matt Weiner and I will be appearing in the Camp Jitterbug 'Jump Session' Show, Friday May 25th, Benaroya Hall., 7 p.m.
The Casey MacGill Orchestra will be playing Sunday night May 26th at Temple D' Hirsch for Camp Jitterbug, 8:30-12:30. Even if you're not a swing dancer, you should come hear this great band.
In June Casey MacGill & the Hi 5 will be swinging in the Great Hall at Greenlake, Monday June 3rd, 9 p.m. The Casey MacGill Trio will travel to Logan, Utah to play The Summerfest Arts Faire, Friday, June 14th. And on Saturday, June 22nd the trio will appear on the NPR radio show Says You, recorded at Town Hall, 1:30 p.m.
In August the Orchestra will be appearing at Jazz Under the Stars for Pacific Lutheran University on Thursday August 8th, 7 p.m., and also the Seattle Lindy Exchange, Saturday August 10th.
Tuesday August 13th our trio plus special guest Hans Teuber will be a part of the North City Jazzwalk, playing at the North City Bistro from 7-10 p.m.
Labor Day weekend I'll be travelling to Los Angeles to appear with Jonathan Stout at Camp Hollywood.
Matt and I will join the first Centrum Uke Fest in Port Townsend, WA. from Wednesday September 11th through Saturday September 14th. and at the end of the month the Casey MacGill Trio have a mini-tour of Oregon with dates in Canby, Portland, and Eugene.
